Kate Holtby, PT, DPT, CSCS graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in 2017 and has been practicing in the Rochester area since. She became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2021 demonstrating her expertise in training individuals to their top levels of performance. Kate enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities with a special interest in orthopedics. She is a firm believer in listening to her patients and providing PT with an individualized and caring approach to help her patients maximize their function and reach their goals.

Lindsey Chase PT, DPT AIB-VR/CON received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in 2020 and has since been practicing in the Rochester area. She received training from the American Institute of Balance for the treatment of vestibular conditions, balance issues and concussion. Her other areas of interest and experience include patients with neurological conditions, and older adults who are seeking care for strengthening, balance, and functional optimization.

Edna O'Neill

Edna has been a Physical Therapist for 28 years. She graduated from Daemen
College in 1992 with a degree in Physical Therapy. Edna has experience treating
patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions including (and not limited to) joint replacement, stroke, TMJ,diabetic neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple sclerosis,cerebral palsy, rotator cuff repair, general deconditioning,and balance impairments.

Edna returned to Daemen College to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009.
Since then, she has practiced in the Rochester area in outpatient, rehabilitation and skilled nursing settings.

Edna is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She has
training in manual therapy, myofascial release and the Duffy-Rath System which is a treatment system for low back pain.

She feels fortunate to have become a therapist with Thrive where the focus is on
personalized patient-centered care. In her free time, Edna enjoys hiking , being in
nature, near the water and spending time with friends and family.

Denise has been excited about the capacity of the body from a young age.  Practicing Physical Therapy since 1992 in developmental disability, early intervention, outpatient, acute care, short term rehab, long term care and homecare to work together with clients to identify the activities that are most dear to them.  And proceeding to cultivate paths to bring those activities into their lives.  More than three decades of experience in adaptive equipment and environment modifications to support safety and success in daily life.  Specialty training in neuromotor execution, Pilates, pain control, postural and breath awareness, ergonomics, and prosthetics/orthotics.  

With a deep commitment to health equity and incentivizing wellness, Denise returned to academics in 2019, acquiring her Masters degree in Health System Administration.  Returning to hands on care with Thrive brings the privilege of individual treatment in the most meaningful environment, home.

Samana Lake

Samana Lake PT, CYT, Dip MDT, Rigo Concept-BSPTS Therapist has been practicing physical therapy for 38 years. She graduated from Marquette University in 1988. Samana has served in various settings, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and schools. In 2000, she completed a diploma program specializing in the McKenzie Method, which relates to mechanical therapy and diagnosis and is especially useful for spinal disorders. To further her skills, Samana completed a 200-hour yoga certification in 2003 and became a certified yoga instructor. She is certified in Yoga for Osteoporosis and Scoliosis with the Fishman Method shown to improve bone density and scoliotic curve alignment. She is certified in the Rigo Concept with the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School based on the original Schroth Method. The method focuses on the concepts of 3D spinal correction, breath expansion, muscle activation and integration to empower patients to reduce curve progression and improve postural alignment. Samana is passionate about assisting each client individually to cultivate body awareness and alignment and overall well-being.
